This striking shrub gets long white flower clusters from March that attract bees and butterflies. The fragrant, small flowers hang like bells on the plant. The Pieris ‘Forest Flame’ is winter hardy and keeps its leaves all year round, so you can enjoy the shrub all year round. The shrub grows to a maximum height of 4 meters and is therefore suitable for any garden.
Care
Pieris 'Forest Flame' prefers a spot in the half shade, for example under a tall shrub or tree. The plant grows best in a humus-rich, acid soil that is sufficiently permeable. If necessary, the shrub can be lightly pruned after flowering. You can then also immediately remove the wilted flowers.
